When Simplicity, becomes Status.
Art that feels architectural. Spaces that feel intentional.
I’m Asha Kalifa, an abstract artist and founder of Forphild Art, based in London. My practice explores the relationship between structure and emotion — influenced by architectural form, philosophical restraint, and the quiet power of materials. Each piece is handcrafted with layered texture and considered composition, created for interiors that value depth, stillness, and understated sophistication.
For those who see art not as decoration, but as presence.
About The Artist
Asha Kalifa creates textural, architectural works that explore restraint, stillness, and the quiet power of material. Her pieces are built rather than painted, using a signature blend of mineral fillers and acrylic mediums that bridge the worlds of fine art and construction. Each surface behaves like a landscape — structured, layered, and imperfectly alive. The subtle fractures, matte tones, and mineral depth evoke the beauty of materials that age, settle, and hold memory.
Asha Kalifa’s journey is anything other than conventional. With a background in law enforcement, her practice carries an undercurrent of control, precision, and observation — qualities that now manifest through deliberate layering, intentional silence, and structural balance. This duality between order and release informs the essence of her work.
Asha Kalifa’s pieces sit naturally within architectural and interior spaces, blurring the line between art and environment. Strength and stillness become part of the design language itself. Her work doesn’t demand attention; it holds it — quietly, confidently, and without apology.
